Their Story
Monarch Molding Inc, based in Council Grove, KS, was known for providing high-quality disposable anoscopes, particularly the 1891C slotted anoscope, to physicians and clinics for several decades. Unfortunately, they have closed, leaving a significant void in the healthcare market for practitioners who relied on their products. After receiving only a brief email stating, 'we are closed, the molds are gone, have a nice day,' we decided to take action. We are currently working to fill that gap with a near-identical product, incorporating some enhancements.
Our Story
Redfield, a name that is synonymous with the infrared coagulation treatment of hemorrhoids, was closing its doors after four decades. We stepped in, taking over operations in Oct of 2025. The sterile disposable sheaths were back in production by the end of October. Orders are now fulfilled same day. Lightguides are again available, and handsets will be back in stock by mid-June 2026. Complete units, including an upgraded base unit will be available by mid-August 2026.
Our Plan
Partnering up with the team that kept Redfield operational, we organized and registered our LLC in Missouri, which is also Redfield's location. Our engineering team has successfully completed their tasks, and a mold for the 1891c disposable anoscopes is currently in production. We have teamed up with a local injection molding specialist and are expecting to have a near identical scope as the Monarch slotted anoscope available by July 15th, 2026.
The Future
At this time, we plan to put back into production a near identical 1891C slotted anoscope, which we believe is a necessary tool for our partners at Redfield and the practitioners who utilize their IRC machines. This focus on the 1891C slotted anoscope is our main priority. Other products may follow as the need is identified.
